Data Deletion Instructions

Last Updated: August 5, 2026

GenFire (operated by Killbrands LLC) gives you three ways to remove your data. Choose the one that matches what you want to delete. If you are not sure, email hello@genfire.ai and we will handle it for you.

You can also remove GenFire directly from Instagram (Settings → Apps and websites → Remove). Instagram notifies us automatically, and we delete the stored access tokens and connection records for that account without you having to do anything else. Instagram will show you a confirmation code, and you can check its status by opening this page with that code.

Option 1 — Disconnect a social account

Removes everything GenFire holds for one connected YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram account, and keeps the rest of your GenFire account intact.

  1. Sign in at genfire.ai.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Firestation → Connectors.
  3. Find the account and click Disconnect.

What is deleted immediately: the stored access token, refresh token, granted scopes, account ID, username/channel title, and profile picture URL for that account. GenFire also asks the platform to revoke the token, so it stops working even if it had not yet expired. Any scheduled posts still queued for that account will no longer publish.

You can also revoke GenFire's access from the platform's own settings, without signing in to GenFire:

  • YouTube / Google: myaccount.google.com/permissions → select GenFire → Remove access.
  • TikTok: TikTok app → Profile → Settings and privacy → Security → Manage app permissions → GenFire → Remove.
  • Instagram: Instagram app → Settings → Website permissions → Apps and websites → GenFire → Remove.

Revoking from the platform stops GenFire's access at once. To also erase the account details stored on our side, use the Disconnect step above or email us.

Option 2 — Delete your entire GenFire account

  1. Sign in at genfire.ai.
  2. Go to Dashboard → Usage.
  3. Scroll to Delete Account and confirm.

What is deleted: your profile and login, all connected social account credentials (each revoked at the platform first), your generated images, videos, audio and clips, transcripts, scheduled posts, usage and credit history, and your Stripe customer record. Any active subscription is cancelled as part of the same request.

This cannot be undone. Content you already published to YouTube, TikTok, or Instagram stays on those platforms — delete it there if you want it gone.

Option 3 — Request deletion by email

Email hello@genfire.ai from the address on your GenFire account, with the subject line "Data Deletion Request". Tell us whether you want a single connected account removed or your whole account deleted.

We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on the request. We confirm completion by email within 30 days, and in most cases within a few business days.

Retention after deletion

Deleted data is removed from our live systems right away. Encrypted backups may retain copies for a short period before they roll off, and we may keep the minimum records required for tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, or legal-hold purposes. We do not use retained records for any other purpose.
